Chris has been the director of the BSU for over a decade. The BSU had a huge impact on his life when he was a student here at Missouri State University. It is an incredible honor to have the opportunity to give back to the BSU that gave him so much.
Chris is the husband to Christen, dad to Ree (9 yr old daughter), dad to Isaiah (6 yr old son), and dad to Jude (2 yr old son). That in itself keeps him REALLY busy!

David Stone
Campus Minister
David was born and raised in the Ozarks of Southwest Missouri, specifically Springfield, MO. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Missouri State University (Go Bears!) and a Master of Divinity with Biblical Languages from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, TX.
He says this about his heart for the ministry of the BSU: "I believe that we are a “come as you are” kind of people...which is gracious and life-giving. But the gospel of the Kingdom doesn’t just allow us to simply come as we are and stay that way! We are called by God to grow into all that God created us to be; to be in his Kingdom missionary work in our everyday lives. We value authenticity and transparency. We are ordinary people who serve an extraordinary God! So whether you are brand new to faith in Christ or a fully devoted follower of Jesus, there is a place for you at the BSU!"
David is husband to a wonderful bride, Jenny, and dad to great boys, Taylor and Tucker. In his spare time, he enjoys hanging out with Jenny and the boys, reading (or listening to) books, listening to podcasts and music of all kinds, Apple computers, marketing and design, web development, watching sports of all kinds (corn hole anyone?), chasing after our two dogs (Franklin and Bocephus), and playing pretty mediocre golf.
