The Gathering - Sept. 2, 2021
Awesome time at The Gathering this week!
Blake kicked off our Foundations series this semester with "Who is God, Part 1." He shared two truths from the New Testament (Matthew 5:43-47 & John 1:10-13). These truths about God help us answer the question, "What is God like?" He combined them into one sentence to help us remember, "God loves his enemies and makes some of them family."
Sunshine Baptist Church provided an amazing "breakfast for dinner" for us! Thank you so much, Sunshine!
Can't wait for next Thursday's Gathering! Make sure you bring a friend! 6:00 pm service followed by a great meal at 7:00 pm.
Remember: Everyone is welcome at The Gathering! No matter who you are, or what you have done; whether you are in college or not; at MSU, Evangel, OTC, or SBU. It doesn't matter if you have a faith background or not. Maybe you don't yet believe all this stuff? That's ok. It's totally ok to have a safe place to examine the Gospel. That's what The Gathering is all about...a safe place to check out the claims of the Gospel.
